Ilyashenko Yuri Evgenievich (1924 - 1997) - writer, translator, journalist
Yuri Evgenyevich Ilyashenko was born on July 28, 1924 in Moscow.
Graduated from the Moscow Law Institute. He worked as an OTC controller, a control master, and an engineer at a factory. Member of the CPSU. Participant of the Great Patriotic War.
In 1947, he moved to Kazakhstan, Alma-Ata (now Almaty). After moving, he worked in the Dzhambul and East Kazakhstan regional newspapers, Kazakhstanskaya Pravda, The Banner of Communism (now Rudny Altai) and the magazines Prostor and Party Life of Kazakhstan.
in 1957, the first essay by Yu. Ilyashenko.
In 1958, a collection of essays about athletes of Kazakhstan "Strong, agile, brave" was published.
In 1959, the documentary story "Chronicle of the village of Soldatov" was published in the magazine "Prostor" and later - in the magazine "Our Contemporary", subsequently released in a separate edition. The story "Steep Steps" was published in the magazine "Friendship of Peoples" in 1962 and was awarded a special prize of this magazine.
Y. Ilyashenko is the author of the essays "An Enviable profession" and "Steep Steps".
He translated a number of works of Kazakh writers into Russian. The author of the literary record of the well-known front-line memoirs of the twice Hero of the Soviet Union T. Begeldinov "The silts are attacking" and "305 raids".

Issabayev Beken (Bekmukhambet) Kanibayuly (1930 - 2020) - chronicler, local historian, writer, ethnographer.
He was born on March 16, 1930 in the village of Mayan, Chingistau region (now Abai district, Kokbai village) East Kazakhstan region.
In 1944-1947 he studied at the Semipalatinsk Pedagogical College, in 1948-1950 he studied at the Semipalatinsk Pedagogical Institute. After college, he worked as a teacher at a secondary school in the village of Kaskabulak, and then became a school director.
In 1959-1963 - Secretary of the party committee of the state farm of Kyzyltu (Urdzhar district of East Kazakhstan region).
In 1969-1974 he worked as a teacher at the Akbulak secondary school, in 1974-1987 as a teacher, head of educational work at the Zh. Moldagaliev secondary school. Since 1987 he has been the head of the M. Auezov House-Museum in Borili, since 1995 he has been a researcher. B. Isabaev has studied and promoted the heritage of Abai, Shakarim. M. Auezov all his adult life.
Some of the data used in the encyclopedias "Abai", "Mukhtar Auezov", and in the annals of Auezov were taken from the written fund of Beken Isabayev.
In 2001, his monograph "Ulylar mekeni" was published. Individual fragments from the book section received a special prize at the competition dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Abai. This fundamental work was republished in 2010. His works "Abai zherinin tarikhy", "Abai elinin tarikhy", "Mukhtar Auezovtin ata shezhiresi" were published in newspapers in different years.
For many years of fruitful work, great personal contribution to the development of culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan B. Issabayev was awarded the medals "10 years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan" "Kultegin", the jubilee medal "Astana 20 years", "Excellent Student of Culture", "25 years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
He died in 2020.

Ismailov Toleuzhan (1932-1973) – poet, satirist, translator
He was born in the Kaynar village of Semey oblast. He graduated the Kaynar secondary school.
In 1951 he graduated the Kazakh State University and was invited to the position of editor in publishing «Zhazushy».
He worked as a literary consultant at the Union writers of Kazakhstan, he had worked in regional newspapers of Pavlodar, Petropavlovsk, and in the republican newspaper. «Zhas Alash».
His first book «Slap some people» an evil, venomous satire on the vices of society was a great success. For short career (1951-1961) he created a remarkable lyric, a lot of satirical poems «Yesil», «Tabunscic», «Agitator».

Iskakov Kalihan (1935-2014) – novelist, playwright, screenwriter, translator
He was born in the Katon-Karagay district of East Kazakhstan oblast. He graduated the journalism department of Kazakh State University named after S.M. Kirov. For many years he worked in the editions of newspapers «Leninshil zhas», «Kazakh literature», in the magazine «Parasat».
He published several collections of short stories: «About my friend», «Brothers», «Bukhtarma tunes» and the novel «Taciturn». He was the winner of the Prize named after G.Musrepov. Over the years, the writer was awarded the Certificate of Merit of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Issa (Isabaev) Saya (1956) - journalist.
He was born on August 9, 1956 in the village of Georgievka, Zharminsky district, Semipalatinsk region (now East Kazakhstan region).
He graduated from Semipalatinsk Pedagogical Institute (now Semipalatinsk State Pedagogical University named after Shakarima). He worked as a school teacher. In 1984, his first story was published in the district newspaper. In 1986, he participated in the youth creative festival "Zhiger".
He held responsible positions in the regional newspaper "Irtysh", in the newspaper "Soviets of Kazakhstan". He worked as deputy editor-in-chief of the magazine "Prostor".
Member of the Writers' Union of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
